Owned by no man
I’m a Lost man from the middle of nowhere.
I’ve never done drugs and I’ve lost all my hair.
Yeah so, I’ve been here, and I’ve done that
Shot at, blown up, heard the Doc yell STAT.
Lost some good brothers and cried my heart out
But now I’m just RAGING while I SCREAM and SHOUT
I can’t believe the state of this land I’m seeing
I’ve grown to hate every single human being
Every False Prophet thinks their word is the gospel
Spitting in your face, expecting you not to get hostel
Without your crowd you can’t do it on your own
Without a crowd you’re scared and leave it alone
Where I’m from REAL men don’t have to be shown
No talk, they act, because they are in a league of their own
They handle their business without ever picking up the phone.
Unless it’s to move somebody that won’t make it home.
I surround myself with people that live by a creed.
If you don’t have the backbone get behind me!
We never give up
We never give in
If you don’t have my back
Then the currency we call friendship is spent
If you’re going to say something about me or them
Then you’re going to reap what you sow in the end.
True friends are loyal, honest, and have integrity.
Imposter’s that front are going to feel the severity
Of my truth in your face as painful as breaking bones
Tuck your tail between your legs and hobble home
If you can’t run with the big dogs this place isn’t your home.
You shouldn’t run your mouth if you’re as fragile as glass
Cause I stay quiet until I relive my past
Drag your soul through MY memories
Let you experience the dark sin’s inside of me.
You’ll feel abandoned as you watch me walk away.
Reenactment of my trauma is what I’m trying to convey
Ethnicity doesn’t matter
We’re all made of dust and mixed together
Styrofoam tray or silver platter
When life gets real, civilians scatter
memories fade, but our mindset truly matters
your inequities show through your price tags
People Talking nice to your face, not knowing who I am
Evaluate your circle and see what it lacks
Take the less traveled path, and be owned by no man!
