Songs Of The Way
My name is Ben Stout and I’m from a biblically based musical act called “Songs Of The Way” I have 5 albums out each in a different genre and focusing on a different subject with the lyrics predominantly word for word Bible. I grew up in a musical family and dabble in various musical instruments. I write ,record and produce and mix the instrumentals and vocals for my projects with help from my son Casper Stout but I use an external mixing engineer for vocals and mastering.
I grew up in the church but I was without true understanding of salvation, as a teenager I repeatedly responded to alter calls to receive salvation over and over constantly believing I had lost my salvation. The churches I grew up in didn’t have solid teaching and I was without a firm enough foundation to be able to stand through the temptations of teenage life. For many years I was adrift, lost in my own ways devoid of the happiness and fulfilment only God can provide. Eventually, as we all must, I came to the end of myself and cried out to the Lord for rescue from the steep walled hole I had dug for myself and He came through for me . I specifically asked God to do certain things to show me if there truly was a place for me in his kingdom. I believed I had lost my salvation and that once lost, salvation couldn’t be regained. But God performed all of the things I asked and more to my absolute amazement, he destroyed absolutely every single doubt I had . From that point on I realised I really didn’t have the faintest idea and I sought proper verse by verse teaching and one of the first revelations I received was oh how so very amazing the grace of God really is. There’s nothing we can do to deserve or earn it. It’s all the Lords work and the sooner we just lean on Him and let Him do the work the better. A couple of years later I started doing these Christian albums and i haven’t looked back since.

I’m currently working on a new album called “Final Hour” and I have another 4 albums recorded that I’m waiting on funding to mix. I also have been producing some songs for Olga Gavrilov who is a wonderful artist and friend.
